It was the time before the beginning, the time when time cease to exist and the days aren’t still around, there are two kinds of creatures trying to balance the order of the universe. They are the Myrs and the Khaos, immortal creatures living outside the realm of our fantasy for their life began without any blink, without any scar. They are the Alpha and seem to be the initiation of the end, they became the reason we own the life we tend.
They are different but they work as one until one strange emotion was unwelcomely known.
The Myrs held so much light and beauty, the fairest more than we expect to see. Their golden hair flows gracefully on their back, and their sapphire eyes and chiseled face became the epitome of the splendor we lack. The Myrs’ skin was as white as ivory, clothed with feathers and light arranged so graciously, but behind the pretty things we see, they held an immortal duty. To guard the goodness and hope against being poisoned by some alienated unknown emotional lope.
But apart from the Myrs, they live in the universe with some other creatures, the Khaos, the servant of the dark. They live in the shadows and their universe is the unknown meadows. They prided themselves with raven hair and their eyes as dark as their lair, they are strong and they lack the misleading emotions of dealing with wrongs. The Khaos only know one thing, to protect the darkness from missing.
They may be living in the same universe but light can never exist in the dark and the dark can never exist with the light so they live separately, until one flickering emotion disturbed their planned tranquillity.
A Myr by the name of Khair was standing along the border of their world and the world she hoped to unveil. The silver line separating each life became the only hindrance to entering the constrained space. Due to her curiosity and longingness, she made a habit of visiting the borders every time, hoping to see more than she could witness. It was a regulation in their world, to not look at the things not illuminated by light but her craving for some other peculiar fun lead to something more than just dancing and celebrating the sun.
As she walked along the path of brightness, she was suddenly astounded, a creature from the shadows was watching her on the other side of the silver line. Her surprise turned to curiosity and curiosity tuned to interest for she had never seen a Khaos and that Khaos saw a Myr.
“Who are you?” Khair asked with excitement. She looked into his dark eyes to see the abysmal pool into it, full of mystery and unknown melancholy.
The Khaos answered with his deep voice. “My name is Rhyfel, and you are?”
She smiled and answered. “My name is Khair, I am a Myr and from where you are standing I think it is plain to see that you are a Khaos.”
“Indeed, I am.” He responded as his eyes dived into hers. He was immediately fascinated by two sapphire orbs. No words were said after that, they are both engrossed in looking at each other with an unknown captivation and overwhelmed by swirling emotions. They were both captured and bound by a rope that was never profound.
After the unexpected meeting, Khair and Rhyfel always made every way for them to see each other again and as their meeting became frequent, their attraction suddenly became more defined and strong. Khair was now adamant to join the darkness and Rhyfel longed to be with his weakness.
They are in one of their meetings when Rhyfel spoke with so much sadness and distress.
“I longed to be with you but that would never come true for you are a Myr and a Myr can never be with a Khaos.” He sighed while looking away.
Khair shook her head. “Don’t say that.” She then tried to reach for Rhyfel but the borders separating them wouldn’t make it possible she kept trying until Rhyfel saw her and mirrored her action. He reached for her too, fighting against the line until finally, their fingers touched but so is the breakage of the silver line initiated. The darkness and the light suddenly became astray and it was chaos.
The two supreme leaders of both worlds saw what they have done and decided to punish the guilty ones.
The supreme leader of the Myr and the supreme leader of the Khaos said. “For you disobeyed the eternal command, punishment should be granted. Khair and Rhyfel would be both imprisoned in one of the most dangerous and deathly planets known to us and their immortality would abandon them for their unworthy. You will both experience the bitter taste of death and will never be living with us as you ever again.”
And with that they are sent away from their homes and bound with an unbreakable chain, immortality was coveted from their heart and they started to wither away. But as Khair and Rhyfel both met their end they whispered. “Love will be our ending but so will be the beginning.”
They look into each other’s eyes again and whispered. “I love you.”
With their last tear falling from their eyes, it became vast and drowned the miseries known to that land and while their body withered away, something magical swirled in the place. Their hair started forming flowers and shrubs, their rotting skin covered the whole surface of what looked like dust. Khair’s feathers slowly stabbed the newly made soil and turned into gigantic trees and creatures crawling and flying from above. Rhyfel’s dark eyes tainted half the planet and turned it into the night as Khair’s eyes became the evidence of daylight. The new world was forming and new unknown lives were made but not until their heart dried away, inside Khair’s heart was a woman, and Rhyfel’s heart a man to live together with love as their weakness and as their strength.
